Meet Hailey West, NP

Hailey West NP is a highly skilled and compassionate nurse practitioner at Dermatology Associates of Rochester, specializing in medical dermatology. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College (2015) and a Master of Science in Nursing from St. John Fisher College (2019), Hailey is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Hailey’s journey in healthcare began as a teenager when she worked as a nurse’s aide at her local hospital. That early experience confirmed her passion for providing patient care and inspired her to pursue advanced nursing education to have a greater impact on her patients’ health. She has been practicing medical dermatology as a nurse practitioner since 2019, joining Dermatology Associates of Rochester after five years of dedicated dermatology experience.

Dermatology has always been a natural fit for Hailey. Her early roles included preventing and treating pressure injuries as part of the hospital skin team and providing wound and burn care as an RN on the Burn Trauma Step-Down Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital. These experiences deepened her appreciation for the visible, life-changing outcomes dermatology offers. Hailey especially enjoys performing skin cancer screenings, a vital part of her practice, and takes pride in creating a welcoming, reassuring environment for her patients.

Hailey’s enthusiasm for dermatology shines through in her interactions with patients, helping them feel at ease while receiving exceptional care.

When she’s not at work, Hailey loves spending time outdoors with her family. She enjoys visiting her loved ones in the Adirondacks, spending quality time with her two boys and husband. Her hobbies also include gardening, raising chickens, cooking and baking sourdough.
